Curriculum Vitae
Howard Hao-Chun Chuang is an associate professor at the College of Commerce, National Chengchi University (NCCU). Born and raised in the amazingly beautiful Pescadores Islands (Penghu), he received a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from NCCU in 2004. Prior to his academic career, he served as a supply corporal for a year in Penghu defense command of Taiwan army.
Howard holds a Ph.D. (major: operations; minor: statistics) from the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. His research interests include retailing, data analytics, machine learning, computer simulation, and supply chain management. Being an award-winning researcher and teacher, his overarching pedagogical goal is to help students become sharper thinkers and better human beings on professional and personal fronts. He also serves as an independent consultant of data and decision analytics for multiple companies across electronics, convenience store chains, online services, and banks.
