Application Process

Application procedures and dates differ according to the candidate's nationality. Below is an outline of the application process for Taiwanese and International candidates. Please regularly check the announcements on our website for the important dates.

For Taiwan Applicants (Year 2020 Intake):

General Information

  • Local applicants are required to fill out an online application from December 4, 2019, starting at 9 AM to December 18, 2019, until 5 PM.
  • Applicants will need to visit the University website on or before 5 PM of December 17, 2019; to obtain the account information for application fee payment.
  • Applicants are required to submit the following requirements to the University system between December 4, 2019, 9 AM and 9 PM of December 18, 2019:
    • New Student Information Form/個人簡歷表
    • Personal Data Form/英文申請書
    • Proof of Work Experience
    • Photocopy of English Proficiency
    • Diploma and Transcripts
  • Two (2) recommendations are required. These should be uploaded to the university system by the applicant’s recommenders before 9 PM of December 18, 2019.
  • The oral exam is scheduled for March 7, 2020. The office will publish the names of candidates for the oral exam on the IMBA website seven (7) days before the schedule of the exam.

For International Applicants (Year 2020 Intake):

General Information

  • Application is done through the NCCU IMBA Online Application System: https://imbaoas.nccu.edu.tw
  • The online system allows candidates to access and submit the required application documents.
  • The system will be open from January 3, 2020 – 5 PM of March 20th, 2020 (UTC+8).
 
For the Ministry of Education (MOE) Scholarship applicants
  • To apply for the Ministry of Education (MOE) scholarship program, he/she must be a citizen of a qualified partner country. Candidates applying for these scholarships must complete two (2) applications:
  1. The general IMBA application through https://imbaoas.nccu.edu.tw; and
  2. The Ministry of Education (MOE) application through the respective R.O.C (Taiwan) Embassy/ Consulate General/ Representative Office
  • Applicants should reach out to their local R.O.C (Taiwan) Embassy/ Consulate General/ Representative Office for more information about the requirements and important dates to remember.
  • Gaining admission status from the university does not necessarily mean that the applicant has also been given a MOE scholarship. Only the applicant who receives the acceptance letter issued by the MOE is the scholarship recipient.
 
For TaiwanICDF Scholarship applicants
  • To apply for the TaiwanICDF scholarship program, he/she must be a citizen of a qualified partner country. Candidates applying for these scholarships must complete two (2) applications:
  1. The general IMBA application through https://imbaoas.nccu.edu.tw; and
  2. The TaiwanICDF scholarship application through here
  • Applicants should reach out to their local R.O.C (Taiwan) Embassy/ Consulate General/ Representative Office for more information about the requirements and important dates to remember.
  • The application fee for TaiwanICDF applicants is waived.
  • Gaining admission status from the university does not necessarily mean that the applicant has also been given a TaiwanICDF scholarship. Only the applicant who receives the acceptance letter issued by the TaiwanICDF is the scholarship recipient.
