IMBA international students from Vietnam, Eswatini, and Saint Lucia took part in the NCCU English Table as table leaders, guiding lively discussions with local Taiwanese students in a warm and interactive setting.

The NCCU English Table is a language and cultural exchange activity designed to create a relaxed space where students can practice English through real conversation. Rather than focusing only on grammar or textbook learning, the activity encourages participants to speak naturally, share personal experiences, and build confidence in using English in everyday communication.

Through this event, IMBA students played an important role in helping Taiwanese students feel more comfortable and confident speaking English. At the same time, the discussions opened the door for meaningful cultural exchange, as students shared stories, perspectives, and traditions from their home countries. Taiwanese students also introduced elements of their own culture, making the conversations a two-way exchange of ideas and experiences.

More than just a speaking activity, the English Table reflected NCCU’s international and inclusive learning environment, where language becomes a bridge that connects people from different backgrounds and creates opportunities for friendship, understanding, and global learning.
