We are a Taipei-based firm seeking an ESG/Sustainability Advisor/Associate to help support our publicly-listed clients in improving their sustainability practices. Our ideal candidate has a strong interest in ESG issues and a solid understanding of how to communicate and work with senior managers along with the desire to grow and develop. Our colleagues enjoy taking ownership of projects, contributing new ideas, opportunities to travel (post-Covid 19) and performance-based annual bonuses. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support sales initiatives and presentations related to ESG service offerings for corporate clients
- Lead project management and development of client deliverables
- Conduct ESG research and analysis including product development and sales efforts
- Prepare benchmarking analysis and action plans for company improvements in sustainability practices
- Understand ESG rating methodologies (e.g. ISS, CDP, DJSI, MSCI…) to analyze company performance and provide recommendations
- Contribute to external marketing materials and events
- Support relationship management with clients
- Other projects
- A Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in consulting, capital markets or corporate management, ideally with experience in sustainability, corporate governance, or a related field.
- Excellent written and oral communication in both Mandarin and English (Taiwanese also an asset)
- Knowledge of sustainability standards (GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP) and rating methodologies (e.g. ISS, CDP, DJSI, MSCI)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to effectively generate reports, graphs, and presentations.
- Understanding and ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data with attention to detail
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently
- Strong time management skills and experience working under tight deadlines
- Experience presenting to corporate management teams or other senior leadership
- Positive attitude and ability to work with uncertainty
*The candidate for this position must be located in Taiwan and be able to work in our Taipei office. Some flexibility in work arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.
