Responsibilities
Support and improve the research and trading effort by assisting in the portfolio oversight effort and by improving the availability, and visibility of data and analysis, thereby improving investment decisions, investment policy decisions and investment compliance.
Assist the investment manager in streamlining the investment workflow. Help the team to improve new methods of gathering, analyzing, and presenting data, portfolio positioning, performance attribution, portfolio management processes, portfolio analytics, and trading analytics. Maintain a superior level of accuracy and quality control at all times.
Assist with the creation, processes and distribution of reports, presentations, charts, graphs and data extracts. Verify the accuracy of data in various monthly and quarterly reports produced by the team.
Respond to specific requests for investment and portfolio-related data. Assist with building and maintenance of quantitative research database.
 
Qualifications
Excellent academic background in Finance & Statistics or with interests in the financial/investment field
Undergraduates and post-graduate students able to work at least 3 full working days per week, or recent graduates able to work full-time for 6 months, starting from March or April of 2021
General knowledge of financial market and multiple asset classes such as equities, bonds, fx, etc.
Strong programming skills, specifically using Matlab/Excel VBA is a MUST
Strong analytical skills
Extensive experiences in using MS Word and PowerPoint
Ability to comfortably work with structured and unstructured datasets
Ability to bring new perspectives and will be passionate to apply those to financial markets
Mature, energetic, self-motivated and passionate to be an investment professional as a career

We are looking for undergraduates and graduates to join us as a Portfolio Management Assistant. The candidate must be able work at least 24 hours a week for 6 months, starting from March or April of 2021. He/she will be coached by senior professionals in asset management and acquire valuable international asset management industry practices.
