Salary: TBC based on candidate experience
Scope of Position
Supplier Development Manager:
The Supplier Development Manager is responsible to execute missions/Projects for the Airbus supply chain and quality teams by applying industrial expertise needed to drive development of suppliers in Asia pacific, with a particular focus on Taiwan.
Travel: 80% (Within Taiwan) + 20% (International- Mainly, Asia Pacific)
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for executing missions & projects with the objective to improve suppliers’ performances on Quality, Cost & Deliveries.
Missions/Projects objectives:
● To execute new product introduction, Transfer of work through APQP (advance product quality planning) deployment and project management.
● To improve supply chain maturity on meeting Airbus industrial process requirements.
● To cascade Airbus supply chain quality requirements and coach the suppliers to ensure application of harmonized best practices.
● To improve the quality level and reliability of suppliers.
● To achieve top level delivery performances.
● To secure Airbus ramp-up at supplier level, mitigate the capacity risks.
● To significantly improve supplier's productivity & reduce global cost by deploying lean manufacturing techniques.
● Contribute to Regional sourcing office priorities on Supplier identification & assessments.
● To manage overall risks on supply chain quality and provide solutions for mitigation.
● To execute/support various industrial process control assessments and audits at suppliers’ site, follow up on action plan until closure and effectiveness.
Background and Skills
Min. Education:
Bachelor degree in Technical (Preferred) or Business
Min Experience:
Minimum 5 years industrial experience in Aeronautics, Space, Defence, Automotive and/or other relevant industries

Other Experience/Training/Qualifications:
Shop floor operations, Manufacturing process knowledge, supply chain management, Lean, Six Sigma, Quality management, Quality problemㄒsolving, Project Management experiences are required.
Special projects, technical skills, or certifications
Certifications on above mentioned experiences are added advantage.

Fluency in English
Fluency in Taiwanese – Hokkien/Mandarin
Professional communication
Legal or Professional Body Authorization requirements that incumbent must possess for this position

Other Qualifications/Skills:
1 Strong Analytical & operational management skills, in particular on Supply Chain & Quality- incl. "Supply chain management/Lean/6 Sigma" knowledge to efficiently manage supply chain related activities.
2 Experience on Shop floor operations, manufacturing process, supply chain management, Lean, Six Sigma, Quality management, Quality problem solving, Project Management are required and associated certifications will be an added advantage.
3 Leadership and coaching skills to guarantee supplier engagement and development.
4 Communication and language skills enabling to act internationally and at all levels of the organizations
