● Job Description
At J.P. Morgan Asset Management, we collaborate with experts to develop investment solutions for our institutional, corporate, government, and individual clients worldwide. You will deliver the strategies that drive our clients’ futures while developing expertise in a dynamic team environment.
As a Client Advisor Trainee in Institutional Business, you’ll work in partnership with our experienced sales to develop investment strategies that support our clients’ needs across asset classes, including equity, fixed income, alternatives, and multi-assets. You’ll be providing top-tier portfolio solutions to our clients, including financial institutions, corporations, and government, and proactively solving clients’ problems with support from professional advisory resources globally. At the same time, you’ll be collaborating with senior leaders to grow the business with a well-designed strategy and top-notch execution plan.
● Job Responsibilities:
• Provide investment strategy and comprehensive asset allocation solutions to clients, with real-time market updates and product information
• Support senior client advisors in managing relationships with clients by handling client queries and any ad-hoc request from client sides
• Assist with client reports, coordinate client portfolio review documents, or support senior sales on ad-hoc conference call preparation
• Cooperate with internal parties to identify and explore new business opportunities, as well as maintain current business competitiveness and product offering
• Assist team leaders in monitoring business, including management report preparation, business propose generation, and other team administrative efforts
• Maintain the highest standards in business ethics and comply with industry regulations and internal guidelines
● Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Business related major with strong academic performance is preferred
• Excellent Mandarin speaker with a high level of fluency in English speaking and writing
• Familiarity with Excel/PowerPoint/Word; proficiency in Excel VBA and Python is a plus
• Basic understanding of investment management, including fundamental knowledge of equity, fixed income, and macroeconomics
• Solid communication skills to work with internal stakeholders, including Legal, Compliance, Product Specialist, and Investment team
• A highly motivated team player with the agility to collaborate with and support team members in a precise and timely manner
• Ability to work effectively under pressure with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality business results
