Application Process

The outline of the application process for Taiwan and international candidates is as follows. Please regularly check the announcements on our website for the important dates.
You can also refer to frequently asked questions to assist you in further understanding the program.

For Local Applicants (Year 2026 Intake):


General Information

1. Local applicants are required to fill out an online application from November 25, 2025, starting at 9:00 AM to December 9, 2025, until 3:00 PM.
2. Applicants will need to visit the University website before  12:00 PM of December 9, 2025 to obtain the account information for application fee payment.
3. Applicants are required to submit the following requirements to the University system between 9:00 AM of November 25, 2025 and 5:00 PM of December 9, 2025:
   • New Student Information Form/個人簡歷表
   • Personal Data Form/英文申請書
   • Proof of Work Experience/有效年資證明
   • Photocopy of English Proficiency: Proof of English proficiency. TOEFL / IELTS / TOEIC scores or other evidence of English proficiency/英文能力證明
   • Diploma and Transcripts/畢業證書及成績單
4. Two recommendations are required. These should be uploaded to the university system by the applicant’s recommenders before 5:00 PM of December 9, 2025/推薦書兩封
5. The oral exam is scheduled for March 21, 2026. The office will publish the names of candidates for the oral exam on the IMBA website three (3) days before the schedule of the exam.

1. New Immigrant applicants are required to fill out an online application from November 25, 2025, starting at 9:00 AM to December 9, 2025, until 3:00 PM.
2. Applicants will need to visit the University website before 12:00 PM of December 9, 2025  to obtain the account information for application fee payment.
3. Applicants are required to submit the following requirements to the University system between 19:00 AM of November 25, 2025 and 5:00 PM of December 9, 2025:
   • Permit Certificate of Naturalization/歸化國籍證明文件（歸化國籍許可證書及許可函副本）
   • New Student Information Form/個人簡歷表
   • Personal Data Form/英文申請書
   • Proof of Work Experience/有效年資證明
   • Photocopy of English Proficiency: Proof of English proficiency. TOEFL / IELTS / TOEIC scores or other evidence of English proficiency/英文能力證明
   • Diploma and Transcripts/畢業證書及成績單
4. Two recommendations are required. These should be uploaded to the university system by the applicant’s recommenders before 5:00 PM of December 9, 2025./推薦書兩封

For International Applicants (Year 2026 Intake): 

General Information

1. Application is done through the NCCU Online Application System: https://nccuadmission.nccu.edu.tw/Post/15194
2. The online system allows candidates to access and submit the required application documents.
3. The application for the 2026 academic year will be conducted in two rounds, the application system for the first round will be open from September 24, 2025 to October 16, 2025, 5:00pm (UTC+8).
4. Applicants are required to submit the following requirements to the NCCU Online Application System
   • Personal Data Form & Essay (Download) 
   • Two recommendations (Download)
     (To be uploaded to the university system by the applicant’s recommenders)
   • Photocopy of English Proficiency: Proof of English proficiency test at CEFR B2 (or above) or provide other proof of English proficiency test at the equivalent level. TOEFL / IELTS / TOEIC scores or other evidence of English proficiency
   • Diploma and Transcripts
   • Proof of Nationality
   • Declaration of foreign citizenship
   • Financial Solvency
   • Application Fee Receipt
   • Photocopy of ICDF scholarship application form* (For TaiwanICDF Scholarship applicants ONLY)

1. To apply for the Ministry of Education (MOE) scholarship program, he/she must be a citizen of a qualified partner country. Candidates applying for these scholarships must complete two applications:
   • The general IMBA application through https://nccuadmission.nccu.edu.tw/Post/15194; and
   • The Ministry of Education (MOE) application through the respective R.O.C (Taiwan) Embassy/ Consulate General/ Representative Office
2. Applicants should reach out to their local R.O.C (Taiwan) Embassy/ Consulate General/ Representative Office for more information about the requirements and important dates to remember.
3. Gaining admission status from the university does not necessarily mean that the applicant has also been given a MOE scholarship. Only the applicant who receives the acceptance letter issued by the MOE is the scholarship recipient.

1. To apply for the TaiwanICDF scholarship program, he/she must be a citizen of a qualified partner country. Candidates applying for these scholarships must complete three (3) steps:
   • The general IMBA application through https://nccuadmission.nccu.edu.tw/Post/15194; and
   • The TaiwanICDF scholarship application through ICDF website here
   • Applicants should reach out to their local R.O.C (Taiwan) Embassy/ Consulate General/ Representative Office for more information about the requirements and important dates to remember.
2. The application fee for TaiwanICDF applicants is waived. (Please upload your ICDF Scholarship Application Form in the column of Payment Options: Wire Transfer or Pay at the University Cashier (“Upload payment receipt” column) and upload your proof of ICDF scholarship application at NCCU OIC application system: https://nccuadmission.nccu.edu.tw/Post/15194 )
3. Gaining admission status from the university does not necessarily mean that the applicant has also been given a TaiwanICDF scholarship. Only the applicant who receives the acceptance letter issued by the TaiwanICDF is the scholarship recipient.
