Dear International Students,

The NCCU Job Fair is right around the corner, taking place this Friday (March 23) from 10am to 4pm at the main boulevard here on campus. There will be over 90 companies present, waiting for students to approach their booths. However, as the experience of last year’s event has shown, quite many of them are merely interested in hiring local students. Thus, in order to avoid having you walk from booth to booth unsuccessfully, the NCCU International Association (NCCU IA) has contacted all companies beforehand and asked whether they are interested in hiring international students.

1. The result of this project is the creation of a map, listing the four companies that are explicitly interested in hiring foreign students (see attachment 1). These four companies will have representatives on-site to discuss their job openings with you and to take your CV.

The mentioned companies are as follows (while you may still feel free to approach any other company at the fair as well):

a) Digi Win Soft 鼎新電腦 (http://www.digiwin.com.my/)
b) Foxconn 鴻海精密工業 (http://www.foxconn.com.tw/index_En.html)
c) Qisda 明基佳世達 (http://qisda.com/)
d) Test Rite 特力集團 (http://www.testritegroup.com)

2. Moreover, Testrite, BenQ (Qisda), Foxconn, and Digi Win Soft have also provided us with a list of positions for which they are currently hiring (see attachment 2). Hence, please have a look in case you are interested in either of those companies

3. Lastly, the so-called One-on-One Employment Meetings by Contact Taiwan in April and May are being hosted in four major cities across the island: Taipei, Hsinchu, Tainan, and Kaohsiung. While each of these events will have a slightly different character, the meetings in Taipei will take place on April 30th at the Taipei International Convention Center.
Registration for the largest student job fair of its kind in Taiwan has already opened and is available at https://www.contacttaiwan.tw/main/docDetail.aspx?uid=658&pid=658&docid=375.

The best of luck with your job-hunting,

The Office of International Cooperation (OIC) in cooperation with The NCCU International Association (NCCU IA)
